Logitech G910 Spectrum

After 12 years of loyal service, it was time to replace my $12 college era Logitech keyboard with something a little more modern. I selected the G910 Spectrum because its sibling, the Orion was rated very highly as a capable and efficient mechanical keyboard. The main complaint with the original design was that the keys felt a little unnatural, as they were grooved to the sides. The Spectrum improves on the design by reintroducing standard key caps, as well as a more traditional and symmetrical wrist rest. The Romer-G keys are unique to this keyboard (Spectrum/Orion) and feel fantastic, responding well to touches of various strengths, as well as being able to be lit in any of the 16.8 million color combinations.
Overall, I think it is a fantastic keyboard, although a little overpriced at $180. The original Orion version can be found for sale for around $90 during Black Friday deals. For that amount, the Orion is a fantastic value. provided that you are comfortable with its key caps design.
